A glorious blackbutt eucalypt towering to the sky at Ellenborough Falls on the NSW mid-north coast. Having survived the 2020 Black Summer bushfires the nearby Bulga Forest is now being logged by the NSW Forestry Corporation - precious carbon sinks and wildlife habitat being destroyed in an age of climate crisis!

Gollum's lair

A local waterfall in full flow during a late afternoon thunderstorm. As the light faded and the rain poured down, the dark wet rocks and roots gave the place a foreboding feel!

A natural whirlpool formed near a local waterfall reinterpreted.

A very chilly morning sunrise at Surveyor's Hill near Canberra back in July. Shot handheld (which was not easy as it was freezing and I was crouching in cold, icy grass!)
